Recanati Reserve Merlot is produced from the high-altitude vineyards from the winery's top Merlot vineyard in the Upper Galilee. Handpicked in the early morning and delivered immediately to the winery, the grapes undergo a cold macerated for 4 days to maximize their flavor and color. Next the grapes enter the fermentation stage, where the wine is pressed and transferred into French and Hungarian oak barrels for 16 months to age.
Notes: Dry, full-bodied. Aromas of blueberry, pepper, vanilla, and coffee. Flavors of currant, raspberries and cherries.
